This item would suit any application where there is the need to vary the flow of the oil, thereby adjusting the speed of the function. Ie, a spinning brush, blade that runs from a hydraulic motor. The function can be switched on, & with a potentiometer(not supplied, see other listing) used in your cab to speed up or slow the hydraulic function. The USA made valve has three ports, pressure in, controlled flow out, & the 3 rd port must be plumbed back to tank to drop excess flow. It is best to use correct flow range for best results. (please see options from drop down menu). Please note, these valve DO NOT have a inbuilt relief valve. Flow out of the controlled “Flow Port” can be varied between 0 and… Lit/minute depending on model. Please select from drop down menu. Any remaining flow will be bypassed to the ” E, Excess Flow” port. This “Excess Flow” can just return to tank. Once the “R”, Regulated Flow has been adjusted and set it will remain nearly constant whether pressure changes on either the regulated or Excess flow ports. It should be noted that whenever these valves are used to bypass or restrict flow heat will be generated. Please ensure that if oil temperature exceeds a constant 65 degrees Celsius coolers may need to be installed. It has a 250 Bar (3750 PSI) maximum operating pressure. This valve enables to keep the flow to P constant to a required setting, independent of the pressure or inlet flow. Excess flow is drained to T (tank). The integrated check valve allows the return flow to be free. Internal parts: hardened and ground steel. Seals: BUNA N standard. Load holding: matched diameters, minimal leakage (few drops per minute). Connect E to the supply and P to the actuator or to a line of a hydraulic circuit where flow control is needed.
