Valve keeps a constant flow, the exceeding flow goes to either tank or second function. This model is suitable to send pressure to a second line function. Any remaining flow will be bypassed to the ” E, Excess Flow” port. This “Excess Flow” can be used to power another circuit or it can just return to tank. Once the “R”, Regulated Flow has been adjusted and set it will remain nearly constant whether pressure changes on either the regulated or Excess flow ports.
